While Bucknell’s athletic site calls their two wins a winning streak, if the movie major league has taught me anything it’s that a winning streak doesn’t happen until you’ve won three games in a row and UMBC would like nothing more than to prevent that and get their second straight win.

Bucknell certainly has a lot of talent. They really get after the ball and rebound well. Their problems are their scoring and depth, which overlap. Right now Bucknell does not have that true high scoring threat. Morgan Wrightson is averaging 14.6 ppg but other than her it is a group of girls with scoring numbers you’d like to see from your fourth option on a team. That also has a lot to do with their injuries. Three of their better players will be out of this game.

However, that does not mean Bucknell is out of it. They play solid defense, rebound very well, and shoot efficiently.

If UMBC looks past this game it could easily be a loss, especially sincee their last game was barely a road win, where they have struggled a lot in recent years.
