The women’s basketball team may have looked good in their first two games this year, but tomorrow they will be taking a big challenge, their first road game of the season. While it may not seem that hard since St. Joseph’s is 0-2 and have struggled to score this season, UMBC lost by an average of 20.0 ppg on the road last year, even against poor teams. St. Joseph’s may be off to a bad start but they are better than an 0-2 record suggest. But expect road improvement. Michelle Kurowski and Carlee Cassidy may be the toughest 1-2 punch at this level of basketball while Meghan Colabella has been unstoppable in the first two games.
