Men’s Swimming and Diving Leads Patriot Invite After Day One

The men’s swimming and diving team came out hot in the Patriot Invite and are currently leading the meet with 244 points.

The 200 free relay team of Matt Mattingly, Eric Jones, Jason Mattingly, and Steve Gallagher came in secnod place with a time of 1:23.67 while the 400 medley relay team of Nour Saad, Matt Mattingly, Brad Reitz, and Jones touched second in 3:24.19.

Mark Garbowski earned a bronze in the 500 free in 4:39.38 while fellow Retrievers earned fourth, fifth, seventh, and eigth in the event to help gain the lead on the day.
