In the first scored meet of the season the Men’s Swimming and Diving team showed they are perfectly capable of taking the America East Title again as they won nine events.

Junior Eric Jones was apart of three golds at Rider. He won two events on his own, taking the 100 free in 47.84 and the 200 free in 1:45.36. He was also apart of the 400 free relay team with Zach Vonder Haar, Herol Marjak, and Steven Gallagher.

Gallagher was also apart of a second winning relay team. He was in the 200 medley relay team with Matt Mattingly, Brad Reitz, and Sany Haibel.

Like Jones, Retiz was apart of a winning relay team but also took two events himself, winning the 200 fly in 1:54.70 and the 100 fly in 51.42.

Sophomors Nour Saad and John Mendenhall rounded out the golds as Saad took the 200 back and Mendenhall won the 200 breast.
